Deer - Archery Hunts

Archery Season: Sept. 22 thru Dec. 31, 2008

Application Deadlines:
All Nonresident: June 2, 2008.

Shooting Hours: One-half hour before sunrise to one-half hour after sunset.

Deer Firearm Hunts

Firearms Season: Dec.3 thru Dec. 14, 2008

Application Deadlines:
All Nonresident: June 2, 2008.

Shooting Hours: One-half hour before sunrise to one-half hour after sunset.

Deer Early Muzzleloaders

Firearms Season: Sept. 22 thru Oct. 5, 2008

Application Deadlines:
All Nonresident: June 2, 2008.

Shooting Hours: One-half hour before sunrise to one-half hour after sunset.

Turkey Hunts (Spring)

Proposed Season: April 11 - May 31, 2007.

Application Deadline: Through May 30

Shooting Hours: One-half hour before sunrise to one-half hour after sunset.

Youth Season (16 and younger, no minimum age): April 6 - 8, 2007

Limit: Any individual who has purchased a spring turkey permit is eligible for one second turkey game tag. Spring game tags are valid for Units 2 and 3 ONLY.

Upland Hunts

PHEASANT

Season: November 1, 2008 - January 31, 2009

Youth Season: October 25 - 26, 2008
Area Open: Statewide
Daily Bag Limit: 4 cocks in regular season, 2 cocks in youth season
NOTE: Pheasants in possession for transportation must retain intact a foot, plumage, or some part that will determine sex.

QUAIL

Season (all zones): November 8, 2008 - January 18, 2009

Youth Season: October 25 - 26, 2008
Area Open: Statewide
Daily Bag Limit: 8 in regular season, 4 in youth season
